Due to the fact that in several EU countries the employment market is not easily accessible to everybody, EQLEARN aims to ease the access of the disadvantaged groups to the labour market, by developing their skills and competencies. Therefore, social exclusion and poverty will also be decreased.
Some of the disadvantaged groups to whom the employment market is not accessible are early school leavers, low skilled persons, ethnic minorities, women etc.
A TOTAL SOLUTION will be developed for improving the competencies of the disadvantaged groups so that they can integrate into the society and labour market. The product will integrate all eight (8) competences suggested by the European Reference Framework. Also the product will take into consideration the characteristics of different disadvantaged groups but at the same time be applicable to any disadvantaged group..
